Any idea if this is real or a replica? This is the only photo I have at the moment.

On the real version of this watch the hour hand will jump to the correct corresponding hour (so it would start at 1 then jump to 2 at the bottom) if this watch doesn’t do that and instead the hour hand moves like any other watch it’s fake

Well I won it in an auction tonight, will pick up tomorrow fingers crossed it’s the real deal if not I have a pretty cool replica to wear. The treasure hunt of estate sales pulled me in haha

Hard to tell from just this one image. The biggest tell with these is usually the case back engraving. The fakes are usually laser etched rather than engraved. Also, if this is real, it would be a gold case so the weight should also give you some indication if it's real, also it'll be hallmarked..... might just be the light but it looks kinda silvery along the bottom edge suggesting it's IP coated steel and the coating has worn away (therefore fake).

The crazy jump hour complication has been replicated and can be easily found in fakes so don't rely on that as an indication of it being real.

Got some more photos, I did end up picking it up at the online estate sale and the original post was their photo. It is pretty heavy, battery dead so can’t tell about movement. I am going to try to find a repair shop to replace battery. If it’s not real it’s still a pretty cool piece.
