You either die an American brand, or live long enough to see yourself become Swiss.
Hard to tell from just this one image. The biggest tell with these is usually the case back engraving. The fakes are usually laser etched rather than engraved. Also, if this is real, it would be a gold case so the weight should also give you some indication if it's real, also it'll be hallmarked..... might just be the light but it looks kinda silvery along the bottom edge suggesting it's IP coated steel and the coating has worn away (therefore fake).
The crazy jump hour complication has been replicated and can be easily found in fakes so don't rely on that as an indication of it being real.
I like Seconde Seconde collabs more in theory than in practice. I like his fun style but none of his pieces have made me put my hand in my wallet. I was close with the Massena Lab piece but that was at a much higher price point and I simply didn't have the money at the time..... I really like this though so might try and snag one when they go on sale if the price is right.
Personally some beat up mitts offend me less than people wearing gloves in watch review videos.
