Yeah, we know Bill Parcells said "You are what your record says you are."

But which to teams do you feel are not what their record says they are?

Better than record: Cardinals only because Kyler Murray is back

Worse than record: Steelers whose luck will run out any week now. Right guys? Any week now.

Giants are worse than their record

Yea one of those wins was an improbable comeback the other was just a mudfight.

The other teams lost more than we won

Raiders are simultaneously both better and worse than their record. On one hand I think it’s surprising they won any games under McDaniels but if the team had been playing like they’re playing under Pierce they could have pulled off more than 3 wins.

Think the Niners are better than their record. Injuries are part of the game and every team has them, but they've only gotten healthier and better since their bye.

I don't know if any team is worse than their record? Maybe Steelers, but I feel their defense is just that good.

Philly's schedule has been pretty easy so far, but they have KC, Buffalo and SF in the next 3 weeks. We'll know how solid they are after that!

Will likely get ripped apart for this one. But give the Bears roster to a competent coach and we could easily be .500

You’re not wrong. Better coaching and play calling wins the Broncos game, no doubt. And flipping one of the Vikings, Chargers, Saints games would put us at .500 alone. Bears have an okay-ish team with less holes than people think. Our playcalling and schemes are just either vanilla or awful. I believe better coaches could get this squad into a sneaky 7 seed.

The Titans are worse than their record sadly.

I think Dallas can be genuinely better than their record.

They are a top 3 team in the NFC, and they lost to the 2 teams better than them, and then shit the bed completely one week, idk.

I came in here to say the cowboys are worse than their record and I’m only half-joking. They have yet to beat a good team and they lost to the cardinals.

Admittedly they’ve looked good at times and blown out some of those bad teams (ahem) and played the eagles close. But the record itself is a pretty lightweight 6-3.

Falcons are genuinely worse than their record and it's sad. They have a loaded team talent wise, but since the Grady Jarrett ACL tear the defense has gone from very good to league average, and that was the one salvaging part of the team

The real losers are people who drafted Saquon in the 1st round of fantasy. It’s me. I’m one of those losers

Steelers easily worse, 49ers better.

[–] landscapebro@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think we could maybe fit into either category? But now browns have no QB, and we think burrow MAY be back? 🤷

The season just started. Wtf are you talking about?

RAAAIIDDDEEERRRRSSS!!!

[–] ChiliDogs_Revenge@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Hear me out, guys. I think my team should have won both of those games and if the offense was actually playing to its potential we would be undefeated

[–] natethegreat838@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As long as the Steelers have Mike Tomlin, they're bound to finish .500 or better

[–] HoraceDerwent@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It's kinda wild that Indy are at .500.

Should be 6-4 as well with the ref shitshow against the Browns.

[–] milhouse234@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The Steelers record right now reminds me of a few years ago when they went the longest undefeated and then immediately bounced in the wild card.

[–] Mark_Luther@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know. The Steelers are the worst insert record here team of all time. I don't disagree, I'm just saying that our devious black magics are more potent than your muggle mathematics. We shouldn't, but we will. Accept this or move on.

I just wish our dark pact promised us more than 9-8, but when your Patron is Jeff Fisher, such are the terms.

[–] Mondschweif@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Wasn't Jeff Fisher's number 7-9-7-9-7-9-7-9?

[–] avx775@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Rams are better than their record.

[–] Right_Bath9419@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As a raiders fan we don’t feel like a .500 team. We looked okay the last 2 games but it’s the giants .
