This situation has been confusing to read about. Are they saying that the police can’t find any evidence related to the accident and hit and run? As in there were no witnesses, Oubre couldn’t identify the driver/car, etc.
Or are they straight up saying that police couldn’t find any evidence that an accident even occurred/that Oubre was struck by a car at all?
Mostly Scenario B, Oubre did give a general description of the location and car so they search the surveillance cameras in the area but they could not find any to corroborate that an accident happened.

Do we not have records of precisely where the emergency medics showed up? If you just got him by a car and have serious pain over half your body, you’re clearly not moving very far.
If cameras aren’t showing anything there, then Oubre has some serious explaining to do.

His injuries match the description of a person getting hit by a car. He isn’t from there and supposedly had to walk to get help. He could have the location wrong or a concussion. I really don’t expect the police either to look into other near by locations or actually investigate. If they tried hard enough they could 100% where Kelly came from and was doing. Someone could have dropped him off and said fake like you got hit. They would see that if they actually tried
