Chuck Schumer is the bag man for Wall Street and is a pretty blatant Zionist.

"Confronting Iran’s ruthless campaign of terror, nuclear ambitions, and regional aggression demands strength, resolve, and strategic clarity. The danger of wider, longer, and more devastating war has now dramatically increased.”

He's not against attacking Iran just wants Trump to let them declare war

Good. Let’s see the votes.

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Them voting for the war they want?

[–] disguy_ovahea@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Republicans famously want a war with Iran. I don’t think the Democrats will vote for it.

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org -1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

So do the dems. That's the problem, both parties are excited by the thought of finally attacking iran

[–] disguy_ovahea@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Why would Democrats challenge actions of a war they secretly support just to be put on record voting for them? There’s no logic to that argument.

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 4 points 3 weeks ago

They aren't challenging it, they just want to have congress rubber stamp it

It wouldn't take many republicans to join most of the democrats to fire his (*trump's) ass. It is a job that most people think he's doing a terrible job of.

You want Republicans to join with Democrats to vote Schumer out of Minority Senate leadership?

I just want to make sure that's really what you're saying and this isn't one of those things where an autocorrect changed the sentence...

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 weeks ago

I want republicans to join with democrats to get rid of trump. No one likes him.

Schumer and Jeffries have their position because neoliberals controlled the DNC and thru the victory fund the funding of most state parties.

So going against them on any topic, but especially Israel's various genocides would cost you your seat, or your whole state their funding

Neoliberals kept a gun firmly planted to the party's head and dared anyone to think they wouldn't pull the trigger

But they don't have the DNC anymore, and with "fight everywhere" essentially doing the opposite of the victory fund.

Schumer and Jeffries don't have a chance in hell of retaining leadership positions.

Good thing we demonized all those people who pointed out Kamala's likelihood to change nothing on Israel policy but still held their nose and voted for her anyway. Those that speak out against the Party must be denounced and purged.
