Hey folks. My wife and I both work remotely, from home, and want to start taking advantage of our flexible schedules. I run my own business and she's full time but only has a few meetings a week. We're looking at going to Mexico for a week, either Cabo, Cancun, or Puerto Vallarta, possibly booking both now since Alaska has crazy deals to Mexico right now.

I'm looking for recommendations for hotels. The prices seem to run all over the map and I suspect there's some aspects that I don't anticipate. We're thinking we'd try at least one inclusive, and another in an area with a lot of stuff within walking distance. Looking for ideas and suggestions.

If its just a week, just take vacation. If you were thinking longer-term, Playa del Carmen is a easy go-to.

You're going two hotels in one week? While working? When do you plan to actually do anything else to make it worth going anywhere?

Not worth it IMO. Working on a vacation sucks, working at a hotel sucks even more.

I have done something similar recently, stay in Centro Cancún, the host I stayed with had great internet, fully stocked fridge and was extremely helpful. Location was ideal and in close proximity to bus stops and Walmart. Dm me and I can send the link to the listing. I believe it was around 80 bucks a night.
