Yeah because I don't always have a comfortable work environment, and I'm more likely to want to get out and do things.
It does the absolute opposite to me.
Sometimes they screw you like that, giving you less than the 6 months you can get. This has been happening more recently.
There isn't really anything you can do about it.
Not worth it IMO. Working on a vacation sucks, working at a hotel sucks even more.
It really depends how complex you build it. If you just need a CRUD without any complex server setup, scrubbing, etc. you could probably build it for 10-50k, but this amount can 10x or 100x easily if you need more complexity or hire bad developers.
I've worked on a for a yelp competitor before and I' lm guessing they spent a few hundred thousands dollars on it, maybe more if you include marketing and advertising.
Majority come from money or have family that would support them. Thats how they got into entrepreneurship in the first place, it allowed them to take on more risks.
Actual W2 jobs, extremely rare and difficult to find. Contract work is a lot easier to get while nomading, it's still harder than finding non-remote stuff though.
