It’s weird because his value has regressed immensely this season, partially due to him being an expiring, but what value and to who can he be traded to.

Last season i feel like the ideal trade was to the grizzlies for Tyus, Clarke and a pick but due to obvious reasons that’s not possible anymore

There just doesn’t seem to be a team that he can be traded to but what contender can take a flyer out on him??

We waited too long to trade our players. Only Caruso is really valuable now.

Picks. Young players probably

Salary, an ok young player and a protected 1st round pick

I wouldn’t mind him back on spurs coz he can run on offense and set ppl up. But as is, send him to lakers so he can get his fairy tale hometown experience. DDR deserves the best, great guy, even if his game is flawed

It's really hard to build a true contender with a forward who can neither shoot nor defend his position.

Not much. Derozan is old and has an outdated game. Spacing is everything unless you can dominate the court like Giannis or playmake like LeBron.

Some people think they can get a FRP for Demar?

Damn

I was going to say expiring contract(s) and maybe 1 decent young role player

[–] Guhonda@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

A protected FRP is our best bet. DeMar is a very good player, but he's not really a guy you can easily "add" to a team. Example: Alex Caruso could join any contender and immediately make them significantly better without disrupting the team's identity. But DeMar is a #1 or #2 option. If you bring him on, you're changing the team. So that's a risk that most teams aren't willing to take.

Because if you're contending...then your team is already pretty damn good.

I know the sub has always been down in him but there’s 120 points in a game. He will still get 20 efficiently as a 3rd option and there is teams who could use his scoring and playmaking. He averaged over 7 assists as the main playmaker for the spurs. He mostly guards 3 and 4s and is average guarding them. He isn’t a cone. He doesn’t have star value but he does have good value especially since salary matching would not be a big issue. He is making 28 million so all you need to send out is 22 million.

Spurs could bring him back along with coby white. We need a solid vet to help the kids out and a point guard badly.

We have a ton of young players and picks.
