Pacers are no defense just vibes
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
What stands out is I'm going to feel weird rooting for the Nuggets in the finals
Spurs are on national tv how many games again?
Sac top 15 def
The thing about Indy is... their offense is their defense right now.
Why is Kirk's number 1 takeaway from this chart "Here Comes Miami" ?
Isn't it more notable that they are barely above league average efficiency when they've won 7 straight?
Doesn't that insinuate that it's more likely they've eeked out some wins instead of dominated teams?
There are a few teams in the league where when theyโre involved in a game you can throw out the other teams net rating for the year. The heat are one. Itโs extremely rare they donโt linger into the 4th quarter of losses and itโs extremely rare that they blow anyone out in wins. But their games tend to be muddy
Is Houston legit
Is it really
I like the Pacers all offense game plan such a fun team to watch, also Spurs make my eyes bleed even with Wembayana on the floor.
#5 Net and #13 Offense might be even better if it weren't for Randle's acts of basketball terrorism to start the season, 4 fucking back to backs out of 12 games, Brunson not being able to make anything from 2 despite slinging it from 3 and the line, and RJ having his best start to a season only to miss time for migraines and knee soreness. Of course every team has their excuses, just hoping ours start to clear up as the season goes on.
People haven't watched a lot of our games yet, but Mitchell Robinson absolutely deserves an All Defense team if he keeps it up this year. All the metrics point to him and Gobert as the two most impactful centers defensively. When you throw in defense and offense of course guys like Bam are better, but Mitch's offensive rebounding has been insane so far. For his minutes and games played there's no one better, Gobert is a full 2 ORebounds a game behind him.
Just hoping to be an average defense and I think we can have a good season.
76ers defense is doing better than I thought it would
Hawks having a top 5 offense and mediocre (but not putrid) defense despite Trae's extremely lethargic start is a testament to the Synderverse difference.
Spurs are trash?
Spurs are an embarrassment
I know we are a bad team as painted by this chart. I go into watching Spurs game expecting a loss, but damn if it's not still frustrating to see just HOW bad we are. That last game against the Thunder was some of the worst professional basketball I have ever seen. I just want to see some potential. Not 24 turnovers. We were so bad TNT TRIED to kick us off of national television until they were likely forced to put us back on.
There's also the issue of whether Pop is above criticism.
Pop said they need to learn how to win.
They cannot win with these Point Sochan lineups. Full stop.
Either try to start winning and play a reasonable lineup or admit to tanking again.
The Spurs are the exact opposite of Jokic in all these graph thingys that get posted
Pacers are doing what the Kings did last year to similar success. Won't be shocked if they still manage to hold a top seed with this pace. Hyper offense can be killer.
Regular season try hards. Won't win a playoff series when rotation tighten but I'm good with that for a year
Our last 2 games really tanked our rankings, but getting Nico and Oubre back will be big. Iโm curious if we can turn our spare parts of Marcus morris, KJ Wright and picks into someone useful.
I think Jaden Springer could be our breakout player this year Kinda how Paul Reed emerged as an excellent Embiid backup. Our perimeter defense generally sucks but heโs very good at it. Heโs really raw though he needs minutes, the kind Glenn refused to give Bball Paul when he needed them.
Our defense treading water is nice, I'm sure our offense will come around when Ja is back. Just gotta win a few games before then so we aren't out of the play-in race before that. Big ask with how bad our offense is, but maybe we will figure something out?
The Nets and the Suns being in roughly the same place through the start of the season is poetry.
Am I crazy or is Portland not on there?
Mavs still need help on defense if they plan to contend.
Perfectly balanced
