So I paid a photographer to help me get some headshots. The photos came out very nice and asked me if it was ok to submit them to be published. She said 4 magazines will be publishing them which I got really excited about. She sent me a preview gallery only with 6 photos and she said that she would text me within a week and it would be the same link and they would all be there. She hasn’t txted me back but it’s only been a day and it’s been two weeks since I’ve last spoken to her so I am getting worried. I did not have a contract

Flush out your head gear, new guy. You got scammed. There will be no magazines or photos or your money back. You've been ghosted. The photog is in the wind. Poof. They've gone to ground. Take the L, learn the lesson

Yeah, once the word 'magazine' drops I'm out. It's trash 99% of the time.
