mavs fan here. Id probably have to go with Jokic. I think the way he controls every aspect of the game on both sides of the court is special. Hes also getting it done with less pure athleticism than most nba superstars. My second is D Fox. Love his clutchness and his defensive intensity. Who you got

I love Steph. GOAT shooter and seems like an even nicer dude. Seeing him laugh things off when other players would be screaming at the refs or something, it’s refreshing.

Steph is the man.

LeBron James.

He's had a few minor scandals, but beyond that, having THAT big of a spotlight on him, and to produce at his level for as long as he has, it's just wild.

The Greek Freak.

Jokic and as much as it pains me to say because this team caused us a lot of havoc, but I’m going to have to go with Steph as well.

[–] butterbeancd@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Gotta be Jokic. That man makes basketball look effortless, you have to respect it. I think my next pick would be Jrue Holiday, because he does all the little things to help the team win, will take on any assignment, is a great teammate, and doesn't seem to care about his own numbers.

Westbrook for me. Dude gets so much hate

[–] granttheginger@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

LeBron. I may not like him, but he’s the best player I’ve watched play and whenever he gets the ball, you just assume something impressive will happen

Miles Bridges, Kevin Porter.. uhm Josh Primo?

[–] Nuclearsunburn@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Derrick White. Dude comes to play every single game.

Jalen Brunson too. He just has it.

And of course Jokic

glad to see at least one Luka!

Marcus Smart in terms of former players. You’d be hard pressed to find a Boston fan who bad mouths Marcus. In terms of someone who’s never played for them then probably Jimmy. I would say Lebron but there’s some bad eggs who would argue they don’t respect him but Jimmy seems to be widely feared/respected by everyone

Giannis. Just got better every year. And one of those guys that comes across as chill but is also an absolute psycho.

[–] ilikeslamdunks@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This is cheating, but DeRozan. He was the guy on the Raps when my love of Bball grew, and He'll be my favorite forever.

Not former player from my fav team category: Curry historically, Jokic currently.

Mr. Fox of the Realm of Sacramento.

Giannis and Jimmy a close second.

Laker fan here. I really like anthony edwards ans his mentality.

[–] QbertAnon@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

If we’re going all time… Duncan.

He’d kick your ass, but clinically and without gloating, taunting, or much emotion at all.

His game had no flash, but he’d dominate and crush your team’s soul with flawless fundamentals and brutal efficiency.

even worse, you couldn’t hate him bc he had no malice, cockiness, or cheapness.

At the end, you just had to respect what he was doing.

[–] jweezy2045@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Jrue Holiday

[–] Hostile_Pierogi@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Deebo or Lowry

[–] PaulMcPaulersn7@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Gotta be Giannis and Jimmy Butler. My favorite non-Nuggets.

[–] Teffry@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Giannis. He's funny and he's good. That 21 title run was so satisfying

[–] DA_ReasoN@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Kevin Durant. A true student of the game that watches it at every level. He even learns about upcoming high school prospects. Dude just loves to play and talk shit.

[–] Paralta@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Honestly was TimeLord on Boston. Whenever he played miami i could feel his presence through the fucking screen. Jokic is the first person where i hold the conversation in my head of best in the league since i started watching lebron in 2003.

[–] grapeandgilbert@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Tyrese Halliburton and De’Aaron Fox

GSW!!!! Lebron, harden

[–] Unp0pularS0lutions@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Giannis, Gobert and Aaron Gordon are my top 3. Giannis because watching that finals live was something else. Milwaukee absolutely loves that guy. Gobert because he’s often disrespected (because of the covid thing) but he’s really fucking good at what he does and is often scapegoated because he can’t guard 5 guys at once because half the other guys around him were traffic cones on D (See final few years in UTAH) and Aaron Gordon because he’s a really good player that knows his role and doesn’t try to do too much, very patient game.
