Manchester United look to have suffered yet more injury misery with both Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana forced off on international duty.

Rashford came off worse after clashing with Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold during England's 2-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win at home to Malta. He received medical attention on the pitch at Wembley before being replaced by Cole Palmer on the hour mark

Onana started in goal for Cameroon's World Cup qualifying match against Mauritius. The Reds shot-stopper lasted 81 minutes but was also forced off with an injury, the nature of which is not known

UEFA is European football… Cameroon is in Africa.

[–] SaintLatrobe@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Cameroon used to be a colony of the German Empire, which is in Europe I think. So that means UEFA should have ensured that Onana would not get injured. They have his blood on their hands.

Real talk: is the league cup worth it? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Seriously what in the hell is going on with injuries this season? No matter what team you look at, somebody’s injured.

We are actually healthier than we've ever been pretty much lol, after being on the more injured side almost always the last 5 years

2020 corona made matches crazy tight, 2021 got affected aswell from this, that season led in to the idiotic winter world cup so 2022 season got stretched aswell, the queen died and added 2 weeks of mourning to the schedule making the games even tighter.

I remember reading last year about how Bruno had played a game on average every 4th day for 50 games. That is just not sustainable in the long run for any club. And now we are paying the price.

Trent doing his Liverpool duties in international games as well

So SAF did a deal with the devil and now it's being repaid. What do you think about the devil truly existing? How does this impact SAF's legacy?

"Oh yes, nice "Injuries" - I'm sure they will be back and match fit for their next fixture!"

Who’s going to replace him by doing nothing in attack for united?

[–] 008Gerrard008@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Luckily for United, they have options for this.

[–] DrHenryWu@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Just build an hospital in old trafford by this point mate.

[–] DeapVally@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

There are building standards for hospitals that Old Trafford would in no way meet in its current state.
