These are planar magnetic headphones that I've heard good things about their sound quality. But they are pretty expensive. Anyone who has tried them?

I have tried them several times. I find them quite similar to the Brainwavz Alara with a bit better tuning .

I think they are good for the price, bass is excellent. But the mids lack energy and the highs aren't special imo. Nice but didn't wow me.

I got them on a bargain sale for 3000 DKK (300£). They are good, but requires EQ to be enjoyable in my opinion. My other references are Sennheiser HD650, Beyerdynamic MMX 300 gen2, Shure srh1540, ibasso it01. The era-1 has the best sub bass but has a dip in the presence region and a bit too much treble that needs to be EQed out. My other headphones are fine without EQ.
