Hello, I am at the airport and I am looking at watch shops here. Does it make sense (from an economically point of view) to buy abroad a watch with vat refund maybe in cash (5-6k€) and resell at home without declaring it at custom?

I mean it seems so easy that anyone should be doing this. What obvious things am I not considering?

Don’t listen to these nerds, you should absolutely do this. Buy as many watches as you can with your credit cards!
