Shout-out to my labmate who couldn't use a micropipette correctly but didn't know it, ruining data from collaborative projects with people on multiple occasions.

Once had a QC method that did this where you had to weigh into a VF, and then weigh the 100g of water... because the difference between 100mL and 100g is apparently a big deal.
