Eight games into the season (yes, a sample size to small to make any real generalization), Podziemski has put up AMAZING numbers.

From the shooting guard position and in only 14 minutes a game, he's dropping 7/4/2 a game on 50/50/85 splits (about half his shots are from the arc).

Given how limited his playing time is, it seems like they've just thrown him into the fire, and he's thriving.

Curious to see how he develops/plays going forward.

That Wolves game was crazy, dude so hard to stop. He's really good to watch. So much fight, but also some real skills to go with it for a rookie. Dude playing like that and making three-pointers will always be good for GSW. Gathers so many fouls though that you can see the downside.

If Warriors' starting lineup doesn't get good, they might wanna change a lot through this season. For now it really looks like some bench guys are better than Klay or Wiggins are doing. I wonder if Steph with Podziemski might happen. I know bench minutes are generally much easier, but these moments of playing Curry with Kuminga, Payton, Moody were the best sign for Warriors this season for sure.

I don’t want to talk about it. Too soon

I really hope that Podz becomes a torch every time the Warriors play the Timberwolves in the same way that Naz Reid becomes an all star when playing the Warriors

He was cooking the Wolves in the second game. He's NBA ready even when the shooting levels off.

He’s following the NBA 2K career path

Great BBIQ and positioning. He's gonna struggle on defense due to his size and lack of athleticism.

On offense he's gonna be a good bench piece for a long while thanks to his insane feel for the game. His passing is very good and has good decision making on the ball.

His rim finishing and floater game might be his x factor: If he can grow that he'll be legit, else he'll keep getting stuffed at the rim.

His 3pt shot still isn't lethal, so we need to wait for more games to evaluate.

TIL 7 PPG is "amazing numbers"

Well, you're quite facetious aren't you.

You might have noticed that there were more than just the stats relating to ppg.

There's the percentages.

There's the rebounding numbers (he's close to 10 rp36, which is amazing for a shooting guard).

There's the fact that he's achieving this in limited minutes and averaged 17pp36 as an outlier option.

And he's only 20.

Context is king.

Facetiousness? It's just immature :)

Everything about his offensive game looks very smooth, which is a great sign for a rookie that went 19th.

these past few games hes been getting the same amount of pt that took kuminga and moody years to earn. not necessarily limited playing time as of late. especially for kerr
