All-star caliber game from Chet.

Is it strange to want both Chet and Wemby to succeed, and to want Wemby to be surrounded by better talent and a better team, and then we can start having the discussions about who is better? I want both to be all-star, all-NBA, MVPs, champions, and HOFs by the time they're done.

Idk why people expect Chet and Wemby to be the exact same player. LeBron and Carmelo were different and from that first season of theirs, it felt like they were both as good as the other, albeit better in different areas.

Few things to consider because it keeps being repeated.

Chet has had a whole season behind the scene with OKC. More chemistry with teammates, more studying the team plays, more guidance, more participation etc.
Chet has the benefit of a much better team that seems to know it’s identity.
Wemby is a fresh rookie within the NBA that looks like Pop is just throwing him on the court raw to get a feel for the game.
The lack of proper plays built for Wemby because Spurs are continuing the tank. Unless Pop turn the current crop into All-Stars, they’ll have to dig a little longer in the draft.
One thing that each have over the other so far; Wemby is proving to be a better impactful defender, putting him in All-Def chatter, whilst Chet is enjoying remarkable offensive efficiency not seen before in a rookie season.

So annoying to keep seeing people shit on one or the other when in reality this ROTY award may have already been sealed with Chet before the season started, and that’s fine.

I’m just enjoying their growth for now.
