I have been having tremendous problem streaming games on the NBA TV app (subscription: NBA League Pass).  I've tried from multiple Apple TVs, two iPhones, an ipad, and a web browser.  I consistently have issues.

  1. If I join a live game and click "watch live", it almost always starts at the beginning.  There is no way to resolve this, no matter how many times I try to rejoin.  It continuously starts at the beginning.  I then have to click "fast forward" to get to where I want in the game (which can take a long time).
  2. If I start a game late, there is no way to resume if I pause.

3.  Tonight, I was watching a game.  I attempted to join "live", on a game in progress.  It started from the beginning.  So I opted to watch it from the beginning.  The game went to overtime.  Inexplicably, with 40 seconds left... the broadcast cut out completely.  

4.  The app logs me out every few days.

I haven't been able to watch a full game without issues the entire season, despite trying on at least six different devices and trying via a web browser.  I've also updated the apps on most of my devices.

Sincere question: does anyone have positive experiences with the NBA app? I can't believe it's a problem with all of my devices, but perhaps something is wrong with my account? Does anyone use the app and *not* have one or more of the problems referenced above?

My biggest issue is I can’t quickly fast forward on the Apple TV app, Roku is no problem and the app is solid. Anyone able to do a 2x, 4x, etc on Apple?

I can’t watch my own teams broadcast as soon as I switch it, it goes all the way back to the start

I watch on my TV. Sometimes it starts on the in game arena stream. But I never have issues

Works mostly fine for me except when I swap games then I want to check stats it'll have the stats loaded for the last game I was watching.

Mine literally never shows commercials, it just freezes the picture and shows the countdown to the end of the commerical break

This is my 2nd year having it and i think it's worse this season than it was last year. I get the 3 months free from a Fanduel promo, so i decided to renew the subscription for this year.

It's even more glitchy than it was last season. Streams barely ever run smoothly, and just navigating through the app takes forever. This year whenever i select a game, the stream is basically unwatchable and sometimes i have to exit the app several times to get a decent stream. I have a firestick, but everything else runs smoothly so it isn't that or my connection....the app is just garbage

It works ok for me, but I live overseas and often watch games after they've finished.

I just watch it via Prime Video. Much easier

I have no complain. I watch league pass on my PC, on my phone or on my tv. I have a great experience. Especially love the « all possession » recap.

It is horrific . I have had the same experience across multiple devices. Even when I go into advanced settings and adjust playback quality to the lowest setting. I can’t even decipher the pixels on screen. I have tried Apple products, Chromecast, mobile handset, PlayStation, laptop, desktop. It’s all the same.

I have deleted and reinstalled apps on all formats multiple times. My internet connection is not the issue. The app is fucking awful and I have given up trying to get a resolution through the NBA app.

Why won’t they fix it when it’s clearly an issue affecting many many subscribers?
