Most embarrassing play of the day. Entire bench and coaches were dogpiling on top of him as if he hit the biggest shot of a Finals game. They were soaking him with Gatorade only for them to leave plenty of time on the clock for a game equalizing 3

Of course a Kings fan posts this. Also flair up

[–] Goodisworthfighting4@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

oh youre a kings fan lol, still mad that Steph sonned your entire franchise in game 7

[–] Altruistic-Twist-379@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Lmao of course you a kings fan, never played a sport? Cant cheer for a teamate that is struggling?

[–] Headlesshorsman02@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Those warriors commentators can hold that

[–] Nutty_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I hate the Warriors too but after what happened last season with Wiggins missing time for personal reasons it makes sense to overcelebrate a shot like that. They wouldn’t be doing that to Steph if he had made it instead.

Warriors season is basically over now

championship teams don’t lose 6 games in a row with 5 being at home. This game was to save their season

[–] Balls_of_Adamanthium@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

[Clip Request] Steph lighting the beam at Golden 1 Center in game 7.

[–] OKC2023champs@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That shit was so funny to watch live

[–] CoffeeOatMilk@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That was only because he was struggling like shit the entire season and this was his first good game

[–] BrandinPodziemski@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Because no other team celebrates go ahead shots with less than 2 seconds left….

[–] MC-Jdf@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

How dare a team celebrate a 3 for the lead.

[–] Icy-Lime-9760@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Y'all have never played sports.

[–] JimmyB3574@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Isn’t this the opposite take? Every high school/college coach on the planet would tell you not to over celebrate w time on the clock

[–] Icy-Lime-9760@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They were happy for their teammate getting out of a slump

[–] ShanghaiAdobo897@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Played sports on the college D2 level (football tho). you can get hyped and shit but if you've got 1 crucial possession you lock the fuck in.

You can pop champagne after.

[–] -KFBR392@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

You don’t think they were locked in and that’s the only reason the 7 foot SG on OKC was able to make a turnaround 3 from the edge of the baseline with 1.6 seconds left on the clock?

I guess the Warriors just didn’t want it enough and they didn’t give 110% to leave it all out on the field, they didn’t lose because of the X and O’s. they lost because of the Jim and Joes.

A yes a 30-1 minute timeout that was spent on celebrating.

[–] DrBigChicken@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

If only they spent the timeout getting taller, they could’ve blocked Chet’s shot

[–] ShanghaiAdobo897@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Could've switched the matchups, just saying. Ball is most likely going to the guy that's on fire.

[–] PhilosopherTotal5828@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

lol have you? I find it hard to believe you have if you think celebrating early is ever a good idea. Every single coach will tell you that’s a no no.

[–] Worth_Inflation_1261@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think they are more celebrating Wiggins made the shot with the season he has been having. If it was Curry or ... Nevermind.

[–] JesseJamesGames449@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It cant be worse than Philly dropping confetti for a game tying shot just to lose in overtime after a huge delay to clean up the confetti :P

[–] ColdCostcoPizza@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

[Clip request] Kings celebrating every regular season game win and first playoff appearance in years by lighting the beam as if they won the whole thing, only to fail getting out of the first round of the playoffs.

You act as if teams/players can only celebrate when they win the championship. For context, Wiggins has been struggling from deep the whole season (career low), so for him to make 4 3s in the last quarter was a big deal in itself and the teammates were happy for him turning around his slump (as well as taking the lead at the end of the game). Get out of here with your 🤡 takes

[–] SkiPolarBear22@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah love to see the team who came up with the most forced and convoluted way of showing a win saying celebrating a three is embarrassing.

Sacramento has one decent year that ended in the first round and now they can say “ha warriors pathetic.” Kinda hilarious how fast they forgot they root for the saddest franchise in professional sports history’s

[–] DrugsRBadMan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Come on man they were supporting Wigs having a good game after playing like shit. I don’t think they thought it was over more just giving their guy some good grace

[–] Dar8_Vader@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It's just that they celebrated with 1.8 on the clock.

[–] ElitePancakeMaster@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

How is celebrating a potential game winner pathetic lmao? Whats pathetic and shameless is how people on this sub are always looking to be offended over nothing.

Almost looks like you're so miserable seeing people celebrate makes you angry. Now thats pathetic

[–] Cryfatso@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Oh that’s hilarious

[–] ArtfulLying@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What kind of awful human being are you lmao

They were celebrating because homie couldn't buy a shot to save his life and finally got back into it and in that moment seemed like he won it with a 3.

[–] modrics_hairband@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Hating on a team celebrating a clutch 3 from a guy who has been poor for the past few games is crazy

[–] PestySamurai@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Embarrassing to support your teammate? Gtfoh

[–] ShanghaiAdobo897@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nah Bro. Thunder broke the code

[–] 20815147@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What a shame because I have nothing but respect for the Kings…

Does it hurt that much that Kevon Looney is Sabonis’s father?

[–] augustcero@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

what's your problem op? dude was struggling and his teammates just so happened to empathize with him. i hope you find people with whom you can share failures and triumphs in your life in your mom's basement

[–] durianlover13@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I wanna see patbev play for the warriors soon, or at least in the play-in!

[–] cyrnios@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Only pathetic, shameless, hilarious thing was kerr again deciding not to foul in that situation lol

[–] Ob1toUch1ha@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Them celebrating wasn’t pathetic, however the Warriors announcers calling game in a one possession game with time still on the clock was pathetic.

[–] AccomplishedFront563@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Lol great bait post you really stirred up the Warriors fans

[–] SeeingThings123@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That title is hella miserable and I don’t even like the Warriors 😭

[–] Gerald_the_sealion@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It’s the warriors confetti game
