I’m the Supervisor - Infected Mushroom
I honestly recommend everything from them if you’re looking for unique sound. The He.art album by Astrix also has some weird.
Enigma also has some great soundscapes. My personal favorite album is MCMX A.D.
Mr. Bungle, or most of Mike Patton's discography, is hella weird.
My favorite has to be "My Ass is on Fire". Trust me when I say it's like a mad science experiment, made into a song.
The girls of porn want more!
These songs were actually in the queue and I find them weird, but I'm pretty sure they are not OP is asking for...
Xenophobia - The Korgis
Seduction - Black Widow
but I’m pretty sure they are not OP is asking for…
"at the reader’s discretion" :D
I figure the odds of any one comment here aligning with my personal taste are pretty low; but the goal was to stick my head out of that bubble for a bit, and y'all have delivered! It's been fun checking out everyone's recommendations, even if they aren't being added to my own playlists.
👊
"A Thai Wedding" by Imade Saputra. My kid loves it too. Not as easy to sing along with as you'd think.
"When the spirit of war will rise above me" by Wojnar
El Chombo - Chaccaron https://youtu.be/MlW7T0SUH0E
Igorrr - Brutal swing https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua5N0cNnhYY
Poop in My Fingernails or really any song from that album. Makes putting Spotify on Shuffle All a real crap shoot.
This bluegrass band who covers pop music tunes called the Cleverlys, and their rendition of the song Low. Shawty got them apple bottomed jeans and the boots with the fur is hilarious with a banjo and stand up bass.
Just off the top
- AmonDüül II -Archangel's Thunderbird
- Spooky Tooth - Something Got Into Your Life
- Toxic Reasons - Get Out the Gun
- The Pink Fairies - The Snake
Fuck, I've got so many weird ones that I can't nearly shoehorn enough of them in here without writing a laundry list. If you want a band that's done solid work top-to-bottom for decades though, take a look at the Melvins.
Huun Huur Tu - Kombu
You guys aren't that weird
This could be even weirder depending on your perspective
If you're into pirate shit lol
To the bar - Cooper Alan Rockstar sea shanty - Nickelback / lottery winners
Unreal Super Hero 3: Keygen music I came across. It took me a while to find the title, and now it's in my playlist.
Mad Machine: Does it count as a music?
My taste in music is dictated entirely by whether or not I think a song is fun to sing. I keep everything in one eclectic super playlist. These are a few of the songs I’ll skip if I have normal people in my car, so they’re a bit weird or at least have an uncommon sound/vibe.
