Is it just me or all the executives in US?

Most of my incoming calls are now cold calls by spammers, linkedin connection requests are mostly BDRs with verbose pitches, spam inbox and primary inbox in gmails full of salesy emails, further even my person email is not spared.

Feel irritated.

Once tried gated.com, which would send all cold emailers a default message, donate a few bucks to my charity to hear back from me, but rarely had people donating (goes to show most are not serious about their offering), problem being my own contacts were sent this message.

Gonna try few options here -

a) making a lot of filters in gmail, which sends such emails in spam

b) trying sanebox.com (categorizes emails in categories like cold emailer category)

c) Marketplaces like fozzie.io, leadrpro.com where people have to compensate you for your time. May put $100 for half an hour and send everyone link to that.

Those spammers need to be a taught a lesson lol.

I send emails like this for work, targets are decision makers in companies. 99% of the time its an email sequence that will stop once a reply is sent. Replying unsubscribe or any text is usually enough.

I can match name + domain to get email address.

I agree needlessly verbose emails are dogshit, i keep it simple. you need X i have X, let me know if interested. (more info)

Web apps should implement a charge per message that would be opt-in. Eg every message costs $1 to send and you get to keep 90% of the value. I'm sure it would help with the spam.

I don't answer my phone anymore. If it's important they'll text or email. I hate getting stuck on a random cold call. Linkedin I accept most requests but don't reply to the messages. Email usually just ignore too.

I don't get your volumes but I get enough to be irritated. Feel bad for sales people, thankless job, but I'm not interested in pitches. If I'm looking for something I'll ping you.
