Press it once and it'll turn on, just like a normal computer (except Chromebooks). If it doesn't then batts most likely dead or there's a fault in the system
Framework
Discussion around the Framework mission of building products that last longer by making them upgradeable, customizable, and repairable. Consumer electronics can be better for you and for the environment.
if it's a brand new Framework you need to plug in the charger for a while, then you'll able to start it!
Have you just got it? You will need to plug it in as the battery gets disconnected with the BIOS option before shipping, plugging it in reconnects it
Press one time. But note that my machine apparently has a malfunctioning backlight, so the only indication it was on was the ring of light around the power button. I had to hold the screen in bright sunlight to see anything on it. (Still waiting for support response).
Lol, you just press the button. If that doesn't work your battery may be dead or you may have a faulty unit
It could be that the brightness is set too low, I think it's the f8 key that brightens the display :)
So I managed to over tighten the screws and mine wouldn't boot. I loosen the screws and it booted right away.
