Starting to wish I had...

Press one time. But note that my machine apparently has a malfunctioning backlight, so the only indication it was on was the ring of light around the power button. I had to hold the screen in bright sunlight to see anything on it. (Still waiting for support response).

Framework 13 Ryzen 5

Installing Windows 11 from USB - brand new install, first time I've turned the computer on.

Nothing happened at all. It took me a very long time to realize that the screen is on, but so dim that I literally can't read anything at all on the screen. Doesn't respond to the F8 brightness key (with Fn or without).

I'm going to try to proceed and hope the default settings work, but has anyone else had this issue?

UPDATE: I tried going into a dark closet, and the image disappeared entirely, so I realized the screen was auto-adjusting. So instead I'm standing in bright sunlight, and that's enough to make the text legible. Hopefully after Windows installation I'll be able to fix this.

Very disturbing, though. I genuinely thought there was nothing on screen at first.

I bought my SSD directly from Samsung. Same price as everywhere else, free delivery, and due to arrive in half the time of Amazon.
