Well, we're a good month into the new season and in my opinion, it's kinda obvious that Blake Griffin has retired. No, he hasn't announced it, but perhaps that is the best way to do it. Just simply walk away with no fanfare, no formal announcement, no hoopla ... just get on with his life and leave it all behind. In a way, it's a fairly classy way to exit.

If I had the chance, I'd thank him for a dozen years of entertaining play and wish him well.

He likely is keeping himself as a option for contender teams heading into the playoffs. Someone will sign him just to be a big that catches draws or picks up a couple fouls.

Crazy to think about him retiring.. I remember meeting him at cobo hall when the final four was downtown Detroit. He was there for the all American ceremony with Harden, Teague, a very young Steph, etc. they were all so babyfaced and now they’re in the twilights of their careers.. we got old 😩
