Can you believe that Duncan went from being one of the worst assets on any nba team to looking like a steal of a contract. Miami runs on Duncan

[–] IamAlwaysOk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Miami runs on Duncan.

After being buried in the bench he rose like an eagle talking through a podcast

[–] girlscoutcookies05@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bro just let Strus and Vincent get their bags first.

What a guy

“We can rebuild him. We have the culture. We can make him better, stronger, faster than before.”

  • Miami coaches before the playoffs last year

Given his name, is it irrational to call Duncan Robinson MVP?

[–] Indojai@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

What role will he have once Herro returns?

[–] Candid_Sand_398@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hope he stays starting, he’s just been too good. He works seamlessly with Bam

[–] DSTREET45@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Duncan is getting closer to achieving his final form.

[–] swhos@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

It took a few years but he's back to being fairly paid.

[–] gab_owns0@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Right? Everyone was clowning on the contract until now lol

[–] KingNephew@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

They literally ran him off the 3pt line to the point he developed a dribble drive/passing game lol.

[–] iliveonramen@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He gets so much attention while running around the 3 point like it was either evolve or go extinct

[–] livelaughloaft@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Didn't know Duncan had an off the dribble game, quick first step too.

Strus' departure really opened things up for him, glad to see it.

He’s out the ball on the floor since college, but he’s put work into improving that part of his game and play making.

He used to shoot like 85% 3’s, on some nights now it’s 65% (can’t recall the exact percentages). Just a lot more versatility. He also isn’t getting played off the floor on defense with a horrible whistle - that was a big part of his limited time, too

[–] StandardLeading1172@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

his passing and driving are underrated, he makes smart decisions

[–] LMkingly@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Maybe now that he's good again he can return to his podcast he abandoned.

[–] DeStupak@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why find a new Miami unknown shooter when you can just revive Robinson.

[–] cozyboy001@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Thank you for carrying on the Duncan love from my post 🥹

He's a hooper!!!!!!!

[–] BaramusAramon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Did he also improve his defense? Not shitting just curious as it was one of his weakness other teams exploit

[–] mdz_1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

My biggest thought on duncan is that I always felt spo was too quick to stick him in the doghouse last year but however it shook out he was great in the playoffs and continuing now so never doubt spo

[–] EnochofPottsfield@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Tbh it was more due to his fouling/the refs calling light shit on him. Man couldn't control his hands, and the refs called a bunch of other stuff because players targeted him to get fouls called. That's why he always plays well in the post season. They don't call fouls the same way

[–] lolvalue@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He even alluded that in an interview a couple games ago. Refs used him to balance out calls in game even when he wasn't fouling.

[–] EnochofPottsfield@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Refs legitimately almost ruined this man's career

[–] Dek-234@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So happy to see Duncan playing well again

[–] Seref15@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Can a player be MIP if they were good then got bad then got good again?

[–] Thealbumisjustdrums@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Duncan becoming a useful player again is huge for our offense.

[–] LoWE11053211@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Nice true shooting

[–] Candid_Sand_398@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Seemingly automatic from 3 and the passing has been top notch. He opens up so much for everyone else. Should truly be a top MIP candidate.

Even 2020 Duncan didn’t have all this in his bag.

[–] EmergencyNail3862@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s BACKKK

[–] Dudeman-Jack@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They are playing so well because herro is out

[–] akcawn@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Dho with bam will forever bring tears to my eyes

[–] Markel100@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Duncan bouce back has been fantastic this season
