A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Are clear books generally acid-free? I have been collecting vintage photographs recently and I have a few of them. I just want to store them safely. Most of those photos are 7x9 or around 8x10 inches. Would the photos stick to the plastic sleeves over time? Should I put each photo between acid free papers to add protection?

i've used clear books for my vintage photo collection and they've been great! just make sure the plastic sleeves are acid-free to avoid any damage to the photos over time. i'd also recommend putting each photo between acid-free papers for extra protection.
