But Kennedy, the nephew of former president John F. Kennedy, came under fire for the plane rides again last year when he bizarrely defended his association with Epstein by listing other sex predators he knew.

“I mean, I knew Harvey Weinstein. I knew Roger Ailes. I knew... O.J. Simpson came to my house. Bill Cosby came to my house,” Kennedy told comedian Andrew Schulz during a podcast.

Wow, that's quite a social circle he has there. He doesn't just swim in human excrement, he socializes with it.

"I can assure you that I'm not a pedophile. All of my friends are pedophiles, murderers, and rapists, so I think I'd know if I was a pedophile!"

This makes me think that the Guinness Book of World Records should have a category for the stupidest thing ever said by a public figure.

George W.Bush: "When I first met with Putin I saw he was wearing a cross [...] He started talking about his mother, the cross, and what it meant to him [...] I looked into his eyes and I saw a soul. I trusted him."

STOP. FUCKING. ELECTING. PEOPLE. WITH. SKY. DADDY!

Ah man I was so young and naive thinking that dubs was the stupidest person who would ever be president.

"We've just totally normalized being godawful parasites who kill the people they rely on when they become inconvenient. What, aren't you friends with people under multiple ethical investigations??"

[–] Boiglenoight@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

This was a bit on the Daily Show almost word for word.

[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I am not now, nor have I ever been a ~~member of the communist party~~ writer on The Daily Show. I wonder if they pay well.

[–] Boiglenoight@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Unfortunately no. Speaking truth to power pays just shy of what you’d get as an art gallery attendant. There’s fringe benefits: you get to keep your soul when you go

[–] NuXCOM_90Percent@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

And some of y'all thinking they orchestrated some mass conspiracy that touched all 50 states and manipulated data all without blabbing a single word.

[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Nah, these clowns couldn't orchestrate shit. They are the pawns. Their billionaire handlers and/or Putin are the ones who do the orchestrating. They don't tell the pawns a bit more than they need to know to be useful.

"partying with" may be a bit of a stretch. "Attending an event for wealthy American oligarchs with"? Yeah, I buy that.

"New York Academy of Art gala"

Any event containing the word "gala" is not for the plebes.

I was browsing Epstein's black book yesterday, and it is actually a little alarming how many Kennedys are in there. I know an address book isn't the same as a client list, but it does mean that they most likely knew one another.

I also learned that Minnie Driver as of 2008 or so, when this black book was seized as part of an investigation, used an EarthLink.net email address lol

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

Now there is a name I haven't heard in very long time...

[–] bigfondue@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

There really aren't that many super wealthy/well connected people. They all know one another and party with one another and sit around scheming about becoming more rich and more powerful.

[–] darvocet@infosec.pub 6 points 1 week ago

I know someone that has a decent @aol email address that he still uses.

[–] ameancow@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Epstein was everywhere in Hollywood and politics, that was his entire business. So we will probably see floods of pictures with him "partying" with prominent figures.

WHICH IS GREAT! It's likely that most of the people he met or were in the same building with had no "dealings" with Epstein, but the more we can saturate the public with pictures that validate the conspiracist ideas that celebrities and politicians are all involved in some child-eating cult, the more we incite the turn against Trump from his own base. Trump's administration is fucking wounded right now, we gotta pour lemon juice and sewage into the wound at every opportunity.

[–] Speculater@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You know who you won't see? Rick Moranis, Mr. Rodgers, Steve Irwin, and mother fucking Samuel L. Jackson. If I remember right, turns out Bob was a shit bag.

I think it was just a cheating thing, not a crazy scandal, I know.

[–] LadyAutumn@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 week ago

I mean. Are we sure RKFJR had no dealings with Epstein?

[–] Mighty_Appititey@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Isn't that David Spade right behind him?

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I assume your joking, but nah. I do see the resemblance though

[–] Tm12@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago

If David Spade and Biff from BTTF2 had a love child.
