Wow is it really that hard to understand that being a corporate tool isn't a good look?

It's messaging
Sure, if the messaging is having supporting policies that address the things every day pepple struggle with. 😑
Zohran makes people feel like he cares and we need to copy that. Democrats.
Anything to not support actual progressive values. They just need to do a better job explaining why the status quo of a 45-year-long lurch to the right with massive income inequality, institutionalized corruption, and corporate serfdom are in our interests, right?
It’s all about goddamn messaging with liberals. They couldn’t possibly be wrong or unpopular, they’re just misunderstood! They just need to convince everyone what’s best for them! Drives me absolutely insane.
Mamdani represents actual progressive values that the working class has been desperately trying to get the DNC to champion for ~~20+ years? Universal healthcare and childcare, rent reduction, realistic wages, etc. “modern messaging” lol get fucked
National Democrats:
Democrats: "We'd rather lose!"
Democrats: This might explain why our telegrams get so few replies.
TBH we've known this since at least the 80s when republicans hired an actor to do all their Presidential work for them.
The Democratic consultants are really, really bad at messaging. Always have been.
Because Democratic politicians don't believe in anything other than protecting their wealthy donors. Neoliberalism is a cancer, and progressivism/socialism is the way to defeat it. The neoliberals will do anything in their power to protect their wealthy donors, even if that means letting Republicans win, because they would rather see a Republican win than a socialist gain any sort of power.
Hell, they even fight against very mild social democratic politicians like Bernie Sanders.
