Well that’s why you get paid millions - sacrifice those limbs, Drew

So how did he throw his whole career after? Lots of pain killers?
The NFL runs on Toradol, not Gatorade
There was a question on whether he would ever be able to throw properly, directly after the injury. Huge risk with the severity of the tear. His play was extremely erratic and he got benched 3 times which pushed SD to draft Rivers. Its insanity the career he had post injury. While his play was still erratic until he retired, the numbers and the fact he won a Super Bowl is awesome.
Ill always have Brees' back, he stated he wanted to play his whole career as a Charger and win a SB. He made me root for The Saints as a side team.
His play was still erratic until he retired???
Imagine the insane numbers he would have put if his play was not erratic. Probably 7k yards and 60 TD a season
Also because he’s TB12’s biiiiitch.
What a loser^
not a good look for a QB, he should probably retire then
At least he can still play pickleball
Welp time to get tuas dad to come beat his ass until he can start throwing left handed.
So dude loves toradol
Played 15 years after that injury what a weird ass comment to make
Put on a hip replacement and old grandpa can bike again, until the mush gives him cobalt poisoning, operations don't have to fix things forever.
My dumbass misread this as as a Drew Bledsoe anecdote and I was wondering when he suffered a shoulder injury, lol.
It’s terrible the sacrifices these athletes go through for our entertainment. Football’s basically a blood sport, at the end of the day. We like to think the players go in with eyes wide open to the risks, but then there’s insidious shit like CTE that sneaks in, undiagnosed. It’s hard to see this continuing in the same way long-term, unfortunately. At least now there’s more awareness and work being done to mitigate the risks. I hope they can at least guarantee a better quality of life post-career sometime soon.
Man. The implications of the Dolphins medical suits signing off on him and Nick Saban either having a successful nfl career or going somewhere other than Bama is fascinating
I guess Drew decided to test the second alternative in Sandy Koufax's famous retirement speech about choosing to give up a large amount of money to maintain the use of one's arm
How was he able to play and at a top 10 caliber qb ever with thst injury for so long?
Neither can I
See? The bears were smart to pass on him
Doesn’t he have some Jesus water or something he shills that can heal him
He also re-injured that shoulder (among other things) in 2020 btw
So his left arm is still good? Breesus coming out of retirement confirmed.
Yeah? There are plenty of us who have had our bodies destroyed by our jobs. Most of us aren't multi-millionaires though... lol
I worked at the place he stayed while he rehabbed. A lot of players owe their careers to Dr. Andrews. Chad Pennington is another. He's a really nice guy, my dad used to pick him up from the airport until he got his own driver for our area.
Crazy it's been twenty years now.
