Here are my top Pics:

  1. Vancouver (get the grizzlies back from Memphis or get a new team. Or Memphis can become the Memphis Blues and just rebrand their whole team and now is the perfect time for it because they are at a low point) and what does Grizzlies have to do with Memphis? Come on guys.
  2. Montreal. Don’t call me bias because I’m Canadian, okay I’m being 100% biased but it’s an absolute no brainer especially with all the French NBA players. Montreal is a massive city and has the facilities, and it creates a more intense rivalry with Toronto compared to Boston or Philly.
  3. Vegas. No brainer. They have the facilities and abilities for meme worthy activities. Love it.
  4. Seattle. Bring back the Sonics they are so sad 😞 in Seattle. I love this idea and have KD finish out his career where it started.

These are the main teams I want to see in the NBA, especially Vancouver. I feel like now is the perfect time for Vancouver to get an NBA team because it has the fan power, wealth, and population to support a team.

What about you other NBA fanatics? Where should the nba expand to first?

Vegas, Seattle, Nashville, Austin, Vancouver, San Diego, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, St Louis, Jacksonville

Vegas is the most obvious.

Vegas, Seattle and if neither of those get picked then Louisville? Or Kansas City.

Vancouver BC and Seattle. Get some more NW teams up in here!

Call the team “Vancouver Blues” and have a melancholic blue whale playing the saxophone as the mascot.

Forever a jab at Memphis for taking Grizzlies from their native environment.

Memphis had the Grizzlies first. The Memphis Southmen of the World Football League were also known as the Grizzlies and their logo could (and maybe should) still be used today for the NBA team.

Seattle is the obvious and only first choice. Vancouver should be 2nd, but it’s obviously going to be Vegas. If there is another round down the line and Vancouver gets one, then it will probably be something like Louisville. No way Canada gets two more teams, they probably won’t even get another even though Vancouver 100% should get one.

Louisville and Pittsburgh. If they want to go all out Mexico City and Albuquerque too. Don’t ask me about the logistics and how Mexico would work though

Anywhere but Canada

  1. Honolulu: At least to my knowledge, I'm almost stunned none of the 4 major American sports have tried to get a team in Hawaii. Players would definitely want to live there during the season. I guess the only hurdle would be the games starting really late. But still I'm shocked they haven't tried at this point. I'm shocked the NBA hasn't even done an All-Star game in Hawaii.
  2. Pittsburgh: Good city, surprised they don't have an NBA team still. I think that's one of the few American cities that's never had an NBA team at any point in time.
  3. Vancouver: I think it's time for there to be another Canadian team. I think it was pretty awful they lost the Grizzlies the way they did. They deserve another shot.
  4. San Diego: They deserve another shot after they got stuck with Donald Sterling and the lowly Clippers in the 70s. Another good city that players would want to live in.

I can't imagine Honululu being a big enough market to be high up on the list of cities the NBA might expand. Then you add in the fact that travel to and from Hawaii will be a massive pain in the ass, and make scheduling their games very difficult. Can't imagine Honululu getting a team anytime soon.

For Pittsburgh, you have the sixers right next door, and a bunch of other teams nearby. That probably pushes them lower down the list as well.

Vancouver should definitely be high prio, and I can see St louis someday, after the obvious candidates like Vegas, Seattle and Vancouver.

Could the NBA ever expand into Europe? Paris, London, Madrid?

[–] LavenderAutist@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Can we get one in Anchorage?

[–] Billysbiscuits@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Cincinnati baby.

I wish the grizz had gone to Louisville instead of Memphis when they had relocated from Vancouver. Apparently Louisville was the 2nd option. Would’ve been nice to have an nba team here, this is a basketball state more than any other sport.

St. Louis, Baltimore, Seattle, Nashville.

Vegas doesn’t need teams, they don’t even have home fans at their nfl games. It’s a vacation destination disguised as a home game.
