I’m brainstorming on a SideProject idea. Does anyone know if there are any free news sources / apis available to use? I understand anything that is going to be free won’t be as good as the mainstream media. But that should be fine for what I am thinking. I’m not concerned about immediacy/recency but more not-so-old broad coverage Thanks in advance!

you can use the rss feed of the various news website, for example the new york times:
you'll have to develop the tool to read them though, or use one already existent
