KD has been lights out so far, almost unbelievably so. Could he contend for a scoring title or even MVP?

Hanky ding dong! Truly a revelation!

KD is probably the best player of all time that will never end up in “best player of all time” conversation

And thats why Bron is the goat for me. Mj never had players of the caliber of kd/steph/kobe/duncan/giannis/jokic competing for rings

That’s what I’m saying. Players such as KD, Steph, Jokic that changed the game/ broke records that stood forever are what this man has to compete against.

Yeah you're right, Magic, Bird, Prime Isaiah, Hakeem, Shaq, Stockton/Malone, Prime Barkley — not at that level.

KD can easily have gotten more scoring titles in his career if he wanted but he usually sleepwalks to 30 and stops there.

If Luka was able to get his 3pt % from 35 to 42 in one off-season, then KD can shoot above 50% somehow. Nothing is impossible. xD

Suns > Nets KD

Suns have to be top 3 for him to get MVP. If Beal ever comes back that will take shots away. He's also obviously not going to shoot 51% from 3 all year.

It’s a bit early for scoring title and MVP talk. If he can get past January healthy then we can start talking but in his previous 3 seasons he always got hurt for a month right in the middle of it.

Game has gotten easier

It's early.

Todays nba is a glorified shoot around

[–] EnoughLawfulness3163@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It'll go down, but he's been getting wide open looks. We need to add another dimension to our offense, but we seem to have the "get kd open" part down

[–] M00semeat60@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He’s so much fun to watch. It has to be crazy playing against him and knowing no matter what you did it’s really up to him if he’s making or missing the shots.

its early and no KD isnt better hes just that good. at his peak he was getting to the rim more, inherently that makes you more consistent if you always had a great jumper

Come back to this thread after 82 games are in the books.

I do think scoring and the game in general is easier for top players. Improved spacing, reduced defensive rules, more protection for shooters. It's just a lot lot easier to be a perimeter player now that it was even in Kobe's day.

Books gravity helps kd and vice versa
