I have waner and Nari ultimates and was kinda just testing the difference, I know theres a huge price difference there, but it led to the question. I could hear the guitars in the backgoround much clearly with my headphones than I could with my iems, I was wondering if it's like that with all IEMs compared to headphones or just because the waner are cheaper?

Depends. Headphones will always have a bigger soundstage, but properly amped a good IEM can absolutely match the detail and resolution of good headphones.

More a specific headphone/iem comparison than a headphone vs iem thing

There likely is a bit of a V to Wanker, so if Nari would happen to have good mids, that could be the explanation.
