2nd year player should not be eligible for RotY. So many Rookies have sat out an entire season just because they had some minor injury. And instead of missing a few month they just sat out the entire year so they can win the RotY next year.

Traveling and Training with a NBA Team for a whole year is a huge advantage.

I haven't seen every Wemby game but I don't think he is using the height advantage much when hes chucking 3s.

I like Chet and hope Chet vs. Wemby is the next Bird vs. Magic.

But I also feel like getting a year of development/experience (even with no playing time) with an NBA team should knock several points off the “rookie” of the year score.

I’m biased but Jaime should be higher. What he has been able to contribute to a contending team in terms of high level defense, clutch shots, and running offense through him is very rare. He shouldn’t be penalized cause he didn’t go to a spot that would let him shoot 25 shots a game and lose 60 games.

I’ve been impressed by how fearless Chet is. I feel like anybody who is tall and skilled can be a pretty good player, but Chet is so aggressive and decisive. Thunder fans are lucky, he’ll be fun to root for
