I was very confused.
South Park
Everything related to the animated television show South Park! (Images, videos, quotes, news, articles, thoughts, trivia, etc.)
"Wow, Scott really hates us, Phillip."
"Yes, perhaps he's homophobic"
"...But we're not gay, Phillip."
"We're not?!"
Nope! Everyone was super pissed and we tuned out and went to play football in the yard! Haha
I loved this episode. I wasn't expecting it.
Doctor O'Dwyer
Time to have your head smashed in
With my new hammer
I still walk around saying this when I need a hammer.
way more than the cartman father mystery episodes
Yes, it was a monumental troll!
Oh Celine Dion, I'm off to save our daughter
Probably but I definitely wasn’t old enough
I always had to stay up late as a kid to watch the new south parks. They came on at like 11pm. I was pissed when they aired this lol.
I was disappointed/annoyed.
I was excited for more South Park and Terrance and Phillip just don't do it for me. I enjoyed them in the movie though haha.
I loved it! But I also lived in Canada, so I saw it like 4 months after April 1 or something.
I still randomly say "let's look for treasure" when in public.
You’re a dick
No, we weren’t allowed to watch “The John Schneider Variety Hour”
It was a massive troll! They got us all good lol
I thought it was hilarious. The troll job and the episode itself
This was my first episode. I was expecting four foul mouthed kids. Instead got T & P farting escapes with Celine Dion and Saddam Hussein. Iran, Iraq what's the difference?
Fell in love and have been a fan since.
I was pretty young, so I had 0 understanding of Canada at all. It definitely colored my opinions early on, I assumed Canadians legit just "looked for treasure." And had no idea that kraft dinner was basically just mac and cheese. As an adult it's one of my favorites of the classics.
I was so mad
I was watching season 1 as a kid when it came out, but I missed this one cuz my dumb best friend's birthday was April 1st
I was like 12 and fell asleep or something but I was so bummed that I missed this when it aired! I didn't have have internet access at home to try and watch, I don't even know if SouthparkStudios was a thing yet, but dammit it took years of watching reruns before I finally saw this episode!
No. My parents usually made me go to bed before South Park, but I was so hyped for the cliffhanger, they let me stay up to watch. I was basically in disbelief. Then to add insult to injury, I had to go to bed as soon as it was clear real South Park wasn't on
I thought the joke was hilarious and honestly the episode is still pretty funny.
I was upset when it happened, but I like the episode now.
Why do you guys call me ugly Bob?
Hot take: If your parents let you watch South Park (as a child) they were in fact NOT awesome, just lazy AF
This is one of my all time favourite episodes and they way it came out back in the day blew my tiny mind. We were all talking about it the next day at school. To go all those weeks with the cliff hanger just for that insane Canadian Sudam Hussain Celine Dion and Ugly Bob masterpiece was some of the most fun I’ve had watching TV.
April fools
