I think season 19 is very strong. I have just been rewatching it. All good episodes and at least three are ones I love: Tweek x Craig, Naughty Ninjas and Sponsored Content.

Gay man here. Absolutely agree that there can be homosexuality included in a show without it being “pandering”. Craig and Tweek have evolved without really pandering. They’re kids, like all the others. And they happen to be gay. That was how I grew up myself, a gay kid in a relatively conservative white bread suburb. Personally, I like stories with compelling LGBTQ characters. One that don’t pander. Schitt’s Creek was a good example, too.

Stan, yes. He’s a sweet, considerate boy despite his occasional bouts of selfishness. Craig too. Sarcastic, but definitely also has a kind, level headed side too. Among the girls, Wendy, who is cute although sometimes a bit pretentious. And I like Heidi, even after she’s fucked up by Cartman. Smart, and cute.

Yes, it was a monumental troll!

I wouldn’t even say Tweek x Craig was so much a pander as it was irreverent trolling of the fandom. But it was a monumental troll and at the same time, surprisingly touching and sentimental. Brilliant episode.

Craig Tucker. Snarky, sarcastic, and straightforward.

Put it down or Major Boobage or Good Times with Weapons

Watched it again last night. It is a really a very well done episode, a mix of satire and charm. It ranks high on my list of favorite episodes
