Fascinating read! I'm intrigued – does this have a basis in scientific research, or are we looking at anecdotal evidence here?
I'd love to delve deeper into this concept. If anyone has additional data or studies related to this, please share. I'm interested in exploring this further! 😬
I have NEVER noticed those details. Only things I care are the total and the specs.
This is the stupidest post I've seen here in a while. There is no evidence to this. Yes there are peoples faces on a consumer website to show insitu, name a brand that doesn't. You're grabbing anything you can so you can get people to look at your blog post you so conveniently attached in the comments.
This lacks validity and essentially amounts to a conspiracy theory. OP is cherry-picking specific examples to promote their article:
- Their first example involves an Apple TV ad for 'Lessons in Chemistry,' only visible if you scroll to the very bottom of the page. The 'add to bag' bar is floating, so it always stays at the bottom of the screen, even under the ad, if you scroll far enough down.
- The second example with the iPhone follows the common front/back shot used by Apple for all their phones. Given the limited space around the call-to-action, the camera array is more visually appealing than the top third of a powered-off iPhone.
- And their watch example is the most far-fetched. Apple adds videos for a personalized experience. Naturally, a person talking in the video will look at the camera, simulating direct communication for a more personal touch.
Clearly, OP is trying to promote their blog post but lacks thorough research. Apple does employ psychological strategies in marketing (like the angle of laptop screens in stores), but this isn't one of them.
Bro, they slow down our old phones so that we buy new ones. That's all you need to know about how they nudges us
Wut
Are you high?
There is nothing even close to resembling eyes or camera lenses next to the add to bag button.
Provide a screenshot of wtf ur talking about.
I was literally wondering the exact same thing, I thought I may have missed something but nope he’s just retarded lol
You cane take all those web tricks. I'll take the 6min advertisements. These things are fire.
