It's not too late to get sweet deals on our headphones. Depending where you live, we have deals on the HD 600 series, M4, AMBEO Soundbars and more. It's a great time to be alive with these deals: https://www.sennheiser-hearing.com/offers/

Bathys for ear warmers and some IEMs like EM6L.

[–] _selva_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My Zero:RED just arrived, I was using salnotes zero but the left earpiece was playing way quieter, the new one now seems too high (especially with voices that to me seems playing almost only from the left side) and now I'm not sure if it's a problem with the headphones or it's just me being used to the right one playing louder...

I just bought the Meze 109 Pros in a Black Friday deal (679 eur in Spain)

[–] kingkhan0440@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I already have hd560s so therefore I don’t need to buy any headphones ever again

[–] Hopeful-Box-2780@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Gifts for my family and some openrun pro for me

I already have my hd600, some grado stuff, each audio technica pair for my workstation. Just need something for when I take walks or when I get back from the pub late at night so I can hear cars, bikes and the likes.

Nothing! I spend even less money if I dont buy anything!!

[–] Axonum@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

RemindMe! 3 days

[–] Rekatihw@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I didn’t get anything, but I previously bought the Sennheiser HD 660S2 for $500 just for it to immediately drop to $400 the next month.

Got a Douk U3 and Apple dongle - my first DAC/amp stack.

not headphone related- samsung 990 pro 2TB

[–] Sarin10@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

the only audiophile headset built for gaming

audeze maxwell, mobius, penrose, lcd-gx, sennheiser pc37x, pc38x, beyerdynamics mmx series.

[–] CognitiveSector@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Yes but the asus rog delta s is the only one with an inbuilt QUAD DAC, and it was at a very good price (£70).

None of the options you have said would reach anywhere near the value of the asus due to costing much more

[–] CognitiveSector@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Also it has the best surround sound of any headset in my opinion. And I have tried many for that matter.

To everyone reading the comments, does it make sense to buy a DT990 Pro if I already have an HD6XX? Or should I go for a DT770 Pro? I want to try my first closed-back headphones, but I'm unsure if I'll like them. Since the 990 and the HD6XX are not open back, I'm not sure I'll notice enough of a difference, and maybe it would be better to try the 770s. I'd get the 250 ohms version.

[–] coconutbrown123@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

20% off aful performer 5. they should arrive Monday and are my first ever IEMS.

[–] socopopes@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I needed a pair of closed back headphones to replace my AKG K702s that I had for about a decade. Got the Focal Elegias for $400 with some dekoni sheepskin pads from the recommendations I read here.

Seemed like the best deal since they are so heavily discounted now. I needed a high quality enough closed back to replace my open backs. Loved my K702s, it was a good run. Elegias are going well so far.

[–] uzmarshall@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I got HD6XX for $189. I hope I’ll like them. Now need to buy amp/dac for it. Any recommendations? Budget is around $100.

[–] BehaveWithClass@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

try them without the amp, should work just fine. Orherwise I‘d look at some cheap dac amps like the Topping dx1

[–] JosephTheDreamer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I got Moondrop Line K, Moondrop Dawn Pro, Moondrop Aria Snow Edition, and Moondrop Spring Tips

Denon AH-D5200 for 247,50€ (Germany).

There was a return one with an extra 30€ black friday coupon code and it has full warranty and I just had to get that one. Too good for that price for just ignoring it. All the other deals were around 330 - 370€ here in Germany.

[–] BehaveWithClass@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

damn, kannst du einen link schicken? also nur wenn‘s den Deal noch gibt, dir schonmal glückwunsch!

[–] xXRyuuGinXx@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I was gonna buy the HE-X4 when it dropped 10 bucks but I forgor and today when I checked it went back to normal... I'm so pissed AAAAAAAAA

[–] NeroYamato@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

PC38X and I'm so excited to try them. I never had really good gaming headset and a lot of people love these.

[–] ballin_stalin@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I bought the 6XX and they will be my first open back headphones. I'm looking forward to them but also having slight buyers remorse. In some ways I'm wishing I got the 58X instead as I listen to a good amount of hip hop and I've read the 58X handles bass better than the 6XX. But I still listen to a lot of other genres like jazz, rock, and blues so the lack of bass isn't necessarily a deal breaker. And I guess I can just resell the the 6XX and buy the 58X if the 6XX just doesn't do it for me. I'm still researching a headphone amp to add into my stereo system and am wavering between the head box s and the mangi because I'm on a limited budget and can't blow the bank on a new (my fiancé would say unnecessary) audio toy.

[–] BENJALSON@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

You made the right move. I was in the same situation as you with the same remorse. I went and demoed the 58X's just to see what I was missing and it's just not worth the switch IMO.

This is kind of a crude and silly analogy but the 6XX is like a box of 12 premium crayons and the 58X is like a box of 6 premium crayons... except it has that 1 color you really like which isn't in the 12 pack. It might seem worth it, but you quickly start to notice how much better the other 6 crayons make the other product overall - and eventually you can't draw without them! Who knows if that even made sense, haha.

Lastly... get the Magni Piety! It's a KILLER amp for the 6XX for an outstanding budget price. Especially if you're a hip-hop fan. It'll bring a lot more bass a presence to the music to make up for the 6XX shortcomings. I listen to basically nothing but JPEGMAFIA and Radiohead, if that gives you any indication for the kind of stuff I like to listen to on my 6XX. :)

[–] ballin_stalin@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Thank you, I think I understand what you’re getting at with your crayon analogy. I wish I had a place near me where I could demo headphones before purchasing them. Thanks for the advice on the magni piety amp. I had no idea that existed and that collab is a really cool story. It’s a little out of my budget but I wonder if I should stretch it if it’s that much better than the normal magni and the head box s.

[–] ballin_stalin@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Also, I meant to mention that I freaking love Peggy. Cornballs and LP! are such fun listens. His production style is insane!

[–] TooTilted@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bit the bullet and picked up a 64 Audio U4S B-Stock. Fingers crossed they're good!

[–] wy1d0@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Any recommendations on some good TWS for calls, audio books, and music while walking, hiking, maybe light jogging? I have some AKG N400 and I can't get them to comfortably stay in my ears. I've tried a dozen different tips (spin fit, comply, lots of different sizes). The ones that fit best are too big to fit in the case and reliably charge. They also seems to hurt if I leave them in longer than a half hour or so. Would be willing to pay more for a really good set.

[–] Leading-Leading6319@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

an HD560S for my sibling since he's a music student but he uses very cheap super bassy, closed- back, on-ear headphones. Suffice to say he loved the comfort and sound stage and details of the HD560S a lot.

[–] Snabbeltax@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

€100,- off on the new Bose QuiteComfort Ultra💪

[–] vostmarhk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Got my first pair of Grados, the SR80X as a gift to myself. They are awesome. Turns out this sound signature and sharpness of the sound are right up my valley.

[–] lexicalsatire@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Only good deal for this BF IMO is the Audeze CRBN at $2500. Otherwise deals this year have been shockingly poor compared to last year.
