I'd bet my house on a Goff turnover here
NFL
A place for NFL news, game highlights and everything that excites you about American Football.
‘Tis the season for heartbreaking drops
They got one!
What a great game
Why the hell didn’t the lions kick any, has the kicking game struggled?
Was hoping the lions would pull it off, but every good team drops a loss to a bad team every season. It happens.
At least they finally converted a 4th down?
Lions using a lot of time down two scores
Packers are my new secondary flair for a week, this was fucking hilarious
The lions are exactly who we all knew they were
Someone remind the Lions theyre not playing the Bears
why didn't the Packers run the ball on any of those last 3 downs? not only to run more clock and force the Lions into using their timeouts, but to get in FG position? both of these coaches make the worst decisions humanly possible
Why not run it there
Great game, Packers. I’ve got nothing to say. I believe in my team. I hated seeing this: good luck this season
For what it’s worth, I actually hope you guys finally win a playoff game.
If the defender looked behind him it would have been a pick
Lions have the chance to do the funniest thing
Lions coaching getting exposed, I'm afraid
I really don’t know if Jordan Love is that great. Great game but I don’t think anything is proven.
Yea, I'm happy we won, he did well and looked good last week too but I'm not quite ready to crown him the long term successor to Rodgers yet.
Good luck at the wildcard Lions.
See, there’s that Joe Barry defense.
Love looks decent when he's playing an overrated Lions defense and not having to deal with Flores blitz packages.
Jared Goff's lows are oceanic trenches.
Football blows now. It's all checkdowns and screens. Boring as fuck to watch.
Lions are just as fraudulent as we were last year lol, first round exit
Do you believe in miracles!?
Honestly I feel bad that the Lions can't even win on Thanksgiving on a playoff year.
Goff shit the bed today
While I was definitely pulling for DET, I will take solace in the schadenfreude I feel in seeing my dickhead cousins parley busted on the very first leg.
This game is a good example of why you still kick field goals and don't go for it on every 4th down
I don’t know why, but I love seeing the Lions lose.
Ppl got excited too quickly no Super Bowl caliber team is losing 38-6 in the regular season 🤷♂️
Not even God himself could get the Lions a win on Thanksgiving during this moon phase.
Not sure if this is a controversial take, but I enjoy that they've kept the player drawings from the COVID era as opposed to the real pictures they used to use.
Lions weapons are some mid outside ARSB and Laporta.
NO ONE stops the Lions on 4th down 6 times in a row 😤
Save for the Week 1 win against the Chiefs, the Lions wins have come against the following teams:
Falcons (4-6)
Packers (4-6)
Panthers (1-9)
Bucs (4-6)
Raiders (5-6)
Chargers (4-6)
Bears (3-8)
Just to keep things in perspective.
Take a shot man…..
Why doesn't Detroit just try to win on thanksgiving? are they stupid?
Just take the L, live to fight another day Lions
Everyone will be upset with Barry going soft on that but that’s a smart call, give them the ball in the middle, churn the clock, and let them try to go 2 scores in 2 minutes
Elite clock management right now..
1/6 woooh!
Tf is Campbell saving those time outs for? Worst game he’s called today
Other than that fluke Chiefs game at the beginning of the season, the Lions haven't beaten a single winning team, you cannot crown yourself one of the best in the NFC when you only beat teams like Panthers, Bucs, Bears, Chargers, and Raiders.
They're still a playoff team, but they're one and out.
WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE GIBBS OPEN???
