Hi, I'm keeping a pretty low budget <55 for a 8" subwoofer driver for my ported box which is built identical to this

the driver's I found: Bassface indy.

Lanzar maxp80.

Gt audio Any others anyone knows of, or which of these are best?

What's your desired ohm load, 4? Not every 8 will perform great in that box. I would have said ID8, but not in budget.

Best by what measuring stick?

Best sound quality? Loudest? Most efficient? Most appropriate for the box, to achieve a Q of 0.717?

If you can push to £75 there is a seller selling SB acoustics sb23mfcl45-4 8 inch subs on eBay UK for £80 but accepted £75 last week when I bought one. They're brand new and usually retail for £120-£130.

Its going to be playing slow reggae preferably with very deep loud bass, indoors. Sound quality isn't very important, though I guess you could consider how low it goes as the "quality"
