I never knew I had a fellow guy from Amsterdam playing in the NFL for so long. Just read a few things he said in an interview a few years ago. He seemed really modest. He once got upgraded to first class because of winning 2 Super Bowls and he hated it.

What a terrible way to find out a family friend had passed. I had heard he had cancer and it wasn’t going well but was told he had a bit longer to live. Fuck cancer
