I’m not surprised KG fell for the misleading lip read text, I never thought he was the brightest bulb, but he’s absolutely correct in saying that Poole isn’t acting like a leader. Unless you retire immediately after, being a champion is more than winning the title, it’s how you carry yourself from that moment on.

Are people REALLY wondering why Draymond decided to knock this dude out? He was constantly running his mouth after he got his bag, then got put in his place. And rightfully so.

He’s lucky that’s ALL that happened, because if it wasn’t Dray , another teammate would’ve eventually done it.

Jordan Poole had one of the worst rookie seasons I've ever seen. Then he fought his way back to become a critical component to a championship team. For better or worse, that Warriors team does not win a championship without him. Would I say he's a franchise player? No. But his "comeback" is something Poole can and should be proud of for accomplishing.

I'm not a huge fan of his play this year or last year, but he can get to the rim and has shown the ability to create his own shot. He clearly needs more discipline and just has to play smarter, but the tool set is there for him to succeed.

I respect Garnett's previous career on the court, but otherwise he's an idiot. Every time a camera is in his face, he finds a way to say something over the top or stupid.

Poole is wasting everybody's time. I know we meme that he's the tank commander, but his performances and attitude have been a disgrace. This goes beyond not living up to expectations.

I know JP has been super bad but I do feel it’s worth pointing out that the TikTok video that KG is referring to at the beginning of this video is super fake and would make anyone mad to see, because it’s not really accurate at all. It’s been debunked a bunch of times and if you even just watch the video it’s clear his lips don’t match up at all with what the captions claim he is saying.

Look, my rando ass has never really bought into the KG tough guy act. Ever. But one thing I’d never dog him for is his drive to compete and win. You can tell he almost takes it personal that a player who was on the rise, played FANTASTICALLY and played big minutes on a championship team, got paid to set his family up for generations, then just gets complacent and practically gives up trying, like he doesn’t have to prove anything ever again. A competitor doesn’t get complacent. You don’t get satisfied. You win a ring, awesome. But five minutes later you realize that was last year. Next year is all new, you have to go out and do it all over again—you gotta earn it all over again. You come out the next season and embarrass yourself, guess what? You just embarrassed yourself. Sure, you won last year, two years ago, and so on, but that was then, and this is now. It’s never gonna be given to you, and you can lose everything at any moment. You can tell KG simply does not respect that casual complacency.

Yo guys, you know its entirely possible Poole to be an unserious player right now and for him still to not have deserved getting punched out cold by a teammate in training? Enough with the black and white thinking jesus.

Side note, nothing to do with Poole but I started watching NBA after KG retired and I have to say he is one of my favorite post-NBA personalities. Very well spoken but really respectful. I know a lot of people hated him for his on court antics (which yes, I think went too far sometimes), but having not been jaded by that, man I love KG. Him, JJ and all the smoke imo are the best post-NBA player hosted content.

His ego is built off of absolutely nothing. Maybe one game in the Finals that year they won, but other than that, he mainly throws bricks. And got carried by a team filled with Steph, Draymond, Kray, a team that had already won 3 rings prior to that. Jordan Poole all hyped off of one like he the man, but he hasn't proved shit. I don't know if he's always had this ego, but he has absolutely nothing to show for it. Even the one ring really isn't HIS.

You see, there's so many players out there in the league that, even if they get the ring, if they weren't a big contributor to that ring, they feel they still gotta chase another ring to prove that they actually put in the work and performance to earn that ring, and not just rode the coattails of the starters to get a ring. You see it with people like (sorry not throwing shade but IDK many names) Patrick McCaw. Does he have 3 rings? Yes. But was he the number one option on any of those teams? The number two option? The number 3 option? The number 4 option? No.

Jordan Poole is like that, but has one ring, and an insanely inflated ego over nothing. He doesn't even understand the game, I KNOW y'all saw that clip of him rolling the ball up the court with like 4 minutes left in a game that they were down by 10 in. He just wants to act like a big guy, like the man, like he knows what he's doing. But he doesn't know shit, and has this crazy big ego over absolutely nothing (save for one game in the Finals, Game 5).
