I'm a Heat fan and I hate Garnnet and Pierce. However, one thing I can say is that they were big time players with a lot of heart. Jordan Poole is an embarrassment and everthing Garnett says is true.

It’s the fact that Poole is bringing these clownshow antics here and it’s fine for now bc we’re trying to tank but he’s barely playing basketball. He’s laying on the floor every other play, clown shit like that timeout they referenced, etc. His trade value is through the floor now so he’s shot our already rough start to a rebuild in the foot. I can’t even watch Wizards games rn it’s embarrassing to watch in a whole different way than just being a bad team

KG was mad yo, and rightfully so. I was one of those who though Poole could do something special and watching him play some of the most selfish, braindead, basketball is a different type of special. I honestly think they need to run it through Kuz and Deni and let Poole get back to GSW Poole. Let him adjust slowly cause 1st option Poole is not it.

However, they could just be tanking but Poole is playing a serious villain if so because I do put almost all blame on him and thats rare from me, yes they have other problems but Poole to me makes it all worse.

KG will never be my kind of talkshow/podcaster, but man, do I respect the hell out of him.

Not only is he one of the most positive "old-heads", but he's open about the fact he was wrong about a dude. Very few of the NBA media guys are so open in discussing how wrong they were. He clearly isn't dissing him for his inefficiency or game play, but he has no time for a leader that has a bad attitude.

Be it for any of us to criticise KG's outlook and opinion on a player. This is a little hyperbolic though.

Poole's first crack at a full time starting job and the 1b/Robin role to Kuz' Batman in Washington. He's had his moments with the Warriors with/without Steph but their system and the talent around him plus the fact he's not nightly at the top of scouting reports, made that a much easier transition for him than this is in DC.

I don't think Poole is ever truly gonna be an elite starting SG and may be destined to be a 6th man, but too early to make the final conclusion. Decent chance the Wizards look to trade him soon as it is.
