Hi i just got sennheiser hd 599 (alien.top)

The sound is good with music but in discord my friends sound like they are in a can or a bit far away if that make sense. and in games the sound is a bit weird to, is there anything i can do or are they only meant for music ???

And another thing is when i try to activate 5.1 or 7.1 if the headset even support it . my mic dont work ? but it works with stereo ?

Good headphones will show you the flaws in the source. In this case you're hearing how crappy your friends mic is. Welcome to audio. 🥰 Good headphones are good at everything. But you'll certainly know it when the source is bad. Keep off the surround sound garbage. It's just messing with tones and sounds terrible.

sure the friend mic is one thing but why does game sounds, sound so weird a bit muffled or with a silencer on it if it make sense so generally worse then before ?

The 599 is veiled, there are beter options for just a few pennies more

Could you list those options? Because they are only £70 on Amazon at the moment.

I just described how i perceived the sound of the hd599, you want examples? Ask for it, instead of giving karens a run for their money.
