OKC, wolves, magic. Nuggets bucks Celtics will still be there. Suns don’t belong on your first list they are not contenders this year. Downvote me I don’t care lol they will rarely have all 3 of the big 3 playing and when they do it’s not going to mean automatic win. Defense wins championships

Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
I’m shocked that no one has mentioned the Pacers yet… But Tyrese Haliburton has been looking like an MVP candidate lately.
Flabbergasted there is so little Knicks talk on here. Randle is the oldest of their core players at 28. They have all their picks to grab a star and are one player away from vaulting to championship contention.
They could absolutely be a legit contender in 2-3 years. As of now they’re a Top 6 team in the East at minimum.
Knicks
All these mentions of Orlando and not the Knicks are absolutely delusional.
I’m definitely gonna throw the Kings in this conversation. LaMelo is on a tear right now, and if they can get him a few pieces I’ll put the Hornets there too.
Hot take but Memphis. A bad season might help them in the long run depending on what pick they get this year and who they draft. They need to fire their coach though
We’ve been the 2 seed two years in a row, why fire Jenkins?
I think they have issues beyond the crushing injuries and Ja's suspension.
There's definitely a lot of young talent there, but whether or not the pieces will ever fit well enough to become a contender is still yet to be determined.
Ja puts up numbers and highlights, but he's an undersized guard that can't shoot or defend. Whether or not he will actually make the necessary improvements is anyone's guess.
Im not sure how Memphis joins the contender ranks before Minnesota, OKC, Orlando, Sacramento, or even Charlotte.
OKC is the obvious answer. However I’m gonna throw the dark horse of Charlotte out there. Lamelo, NSJ, Miller, Williams. Team has a lot of potential.
As sleepy joe once said…
MINNESOTA
Pacers are one star-player trade away from being perennial contenders, and that's a fact. They also need some defensive players too, but if they add a star who can score and lock down other star players they will be unstoppable. Even right now their potential is on full display, they just need that last piece
Wolves, they have a chance to come out of the west this year bc of how well they match up with Denver when healthy.
Jordan Poole is really developing. My wizards will be good someday lol
the extent of roster turnover that happens in 3 years means that these predictions are based off just 1 or 2 players and maybe the head coach
at that point, it’s just guesswork
Can’t count the heat out as the perennial random championship contender
Depends on who has the best players in the world. Whoever got one of the top 5 best is my vote
If Luka ain’t contending in three years from now on whichever team he’s on Imma be shocked. That’s gonna be like six years of putting up 30-10-10 for him just to make the playoffs? Nah, Adam’s got bigger plans for him I’m sure.
The kings, got a young squad that’s only gonna get better
Miami Heat has a new core developing of players in their early to mid twenties of Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and Jaime Jaquez Jr. Add in Haywood Highsmith and Orlando Robinson as solid role players and Nikola Jovic as a wild card (he might be a superstar in the making so who knows - he's currently a PG that the Heat want to turn into a PF).
I want them to win with Jimmy so bad though.
Okc. I think the spurs will be back in championship contention in 3 years
Celtics, Suns but Celtics need to clutch up in the last few quarters did not like what happened with Celtics and charlotte
