Remember when all those dumbasses tried to say he wasn’t spiraling and just had a Bahamian accent, I am here to tell you that you’re a jackass and to keep your opinions to yourself in the future

NBA Black Friday deal. 100% off Kai Jones!

He's fine, he needs to focus on ball; If he has to grind out a gleague gig, then that's what he's gotta do.

He started playing ball late, but how much better he got from year 1 to year 2 at Texas was a good indicator that there's a lot of potential there. He's bouncy, long, and his jump shot's there.

Getting away from a poverty franchise will be a blessing.

Wow he seems like a different person in this interview than those old ig videos. I hope he gets another chance in the NBA.

Obviously his eff ups were catastrophically short-sighted, and the fallout basically unsalvageable, but as far as answers go, this is coherent and calm and at the very least minimally restorative as far as public perception goes---obviously from a softball question where the host was never going to press him on it (which is the smart/humane decision), but still, I really like seeing it.

Unless employers literally forced him in an uninhabitable environnment, this is all on him. Resources are plenty enough for you to avoid some hardcore narcotics (except marijuana, shrooms, alcohols, and fuck it even ecstasy + adderall) and there are better ways/tools/services to work on your mental health.

If you were dumbass who thought "I can handle this shit" and consumed it because you're a dumbass, you get no sympathy for me. I/People/Work is suppsoed to help you because you were dumbass who couldn't resist a very addicting narcotics?

Y'll think y'll kobe?

im kinda with him as far as, people are too hung up on one-on-one therapy as the only solution for any mental health. not everybody needs that and it doesnt always help even when you do, just bc you weren't in a receptive place to it. do we really want to live in a world where your workplace can force you to do therapy or you can't come back to work? outside exceptional circumstances i really don't think we should just accept that

He's not on drugs, he just likes to dance.

"I don't want to play with an abuser" would have been the start of a wonderful rebound
