22/9/3 is all star level now?
Lauri got there averaging 24 on worse efficiency playing worse defense on a worse team, so I would not be surprised. KAT will get to averaging 24 in a couple of weeks if he keeps it up, first 6 games really drag his averages down.
Come on porzingis was 23/8/3 last year on 56/39/85 for a full season and nowhere near an allstar KAT has been good but those numbers aren’t impressive what’s impressive is him actually being okay on defence for once in his career
Porzingis played for the fucking wizards
KAT understood that he had every interest in becoming Anthony Edwards' Robin for the good of the Wolves. Some are made to be FPs, and others don't have broad enough shoulders to take on this mental load. This does not call into question the incredible level that KAT can have on the floor. But he expresses his full potential better as a lieutenant.
Idk if he’s been the best player for the wolves. Ant still runs the offense and does a majority of the difficult “bend the defense” play making. KAT has so much space to be effective because of all that Ant does.
KAT has been an amazing second option though. I really think less is more for KAT, and when he tries to do too much, that’s when things get bad.
