Brook Lopez seemed kinda cooked as much as 6 or maybe even 7 years ago, and he's now playing 30+ minutes and scoring 39 points.

Bucks big three scored 101 of 131 pts and made all kinds of late game errors (Giannis dunk attempt air-balled while up 3 with 20s left??) but got the W in the tourny to top the group.

OP, fyi Giannis has been under the weather (non-Covid) last 2 games and was a game time decision last night - probably would have sat out if it wasn't an IST game

In his defense, this is because he was on teams being coached by fucking morons. He went to the Lakers on essentially the league minimum, and they didn't even play him, then let him go.

Honestly, the group think narrative is one of the things that has always frustrated me baout the nba. It seems as though once it's "decided" that a player is bad, everyone just accepts it as fact and stops giving thst guy any more opportunities. And before anyone says "well Lopez changed his game in Mke", nah his 3 ball was already banging when he was in LA, as was his interior D. That's why why the Bucks snatched him up. He had just already been labeled washed. Thankfully Bud said fuck that and essentially gave BroLo an additional decade of playing as well as about $100m more than he would've been making by saving his career.

I've never seen a career start so hot, then sputter and die, then be rejuvenated THIS STRONGLY in the NBA before. It's absolutely wild!
