I've started my travel work slash vacation in Bali just recently and I was wondering.. Aside from the touristy and wonderful areas and fun activities, is there anything I need to look out for? Or maybe I'm going to expect while also working there? I already went to Tegallalang for leisure and work and it's magical! I'm hoping to go to more spots and also be able to work without a hitch.

Hopefully somebody who's worked or is working digitally in Bali could help me out. Insider local info is more than welcomed!

Lombok and Flores are still nice, mostly, and are very near.

This is most western youtube video ever. Telling about your experience and some Western high class digital nomads praising it while Indonesians work hard for minimum wage so most Australians drink there smoothies there You already saved me a few thousand euro by not buying my ticket

Lots surface level pseudo spiritualism. Yoga by day throwing up into bathrooms by night. And lots of instagram posts about how perfect it all is in between.

Between all the youtubers and onlyfans and influencers it's just content being created from some form of asshole.

So nothing of value added, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_KusrhCFNQ

You can see this video, its mostly financed by families or people litteraly lying about rent or income. A island of wannabexpats that slowly return into Australia to live with parents
