Well Minkah has a long history of being very patient with rebuilding teams so this is probably nothing…

Days of our Steelers returns for another episode

[–] ahHeHasTrblWTheSnap@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

I know this is a different Browns team than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime when we’re causing other teams to break down. Usually it’s a headline like:

“Mohamed Massaquoi and Jake Delhomme got into a ‘heated’ argument following a 37-3 beatdown by the Steelers.”

You boys keep it up and they will take the Ping Pong table away, do you want that? Huh?

[–] wanderingfins44@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

they should have fired teryl austin too.

motherfucker looks like darius rucker from wish.com with about the quality youd expect from that too.

[–] Seanehh01@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Why are the Stealers a drama factory every season?

[–] CoachMcGuirk_1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)
[–] WiredMeds@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tomlin is the only thing keeping these crazy locker rooms winning. Personality management on the field is one of the best. Go ahead and replace him see how that turns out.

[–] kander12@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

One of the most popular teams in the league. The league will ride the Cowboys Steelers 9ers Patriots news for better or worse til the end of time.

Everything about this team screams 4-13. And then you watch them play and they look like a 2-15 team. And then they end the season 10-7

[–] WiredMeds@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (9 children)

The Tomlin effect. He does not get the credit he deserves being able to manage and keep the team upright. It’s hilarious hearing Steeler fans wanting him fired, Tomlin would have 15 head coach offers before he left the parking lot.

[–] DrDragon13@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Those fans are a disgrace.

If they got their way, Pitt would have a new OC/HC every year that they don't win a Super Bowl.

Trying 28.

He would be on the first flight to any place in the league.

I would 4 or 5 teams would trade their HC for the stability of Tomlin.

[–] PillaisTracingPaper@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He wouldn’t even have hung up the phone before he had ten calls waiting on the line.

[–] StopClockerman@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Great coach but his glaring weakness is hiring assistants. His hiring decisions have been like 90% of the issue in the Steelers underperforming over the years.

[–] catzarrjerkz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Similar to DTR after winning the SB last week

[–] fear865@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hell yea he did! Browns have won 4 super bowls this season so far!

[–] Quexana@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Good. It means they give a shit.

[–] sginsc@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Our defense is pretty elite right now though

[–] Quexana@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (7 children)

10 points is inexcusable against the 85 Bears.

He was probably just sad Matt Canada was leaving

[–] A_1337_Canadian@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Such a non-story. Here is another article where Johnson downplays it:

The 27-year-old said earlier this week that he was a "little bit" frustrated last Sunday but that it's "nothing to make a big deal of," according to Joe Rutter of Trib Live.

[–] PCP_Panda@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Steelers defense been carrying the whole team this season it’s probably toxic in the locker room

[–] Batman0043@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

On the next episode of Days of our Steelers…..

[–] Least-Cup79@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We should not have any reporting/news access to the locker room. Teammates fight, tensions rise. It's never news, it always reads like a weird violation of privacy.

[–] Phaentom@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

But its often news... private certainly. News? Almost always.

[–] yinzer21@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s crazy that this is news. Anyone who has been on a sports team in their life has seen teammates get into, especially when the team isn’t doing well.

And at the professional level, I can imagine everything is 100 times more intense.

[–] peanut_butter_zen@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

#PingPongTable

[–] An_educated_dig@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Johnson should have never got paid, that was a panic move.

The team will continue to suck until it gets its OL and DL straightened out. Especially, the OL, because no QB will thrive in that environment.

Johnson got a lot of nerve to run his mouth being out for so long. Hopefully Minkah shut him up.

[–] ProfessionalQuit859@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

And right on queue Lord Yinzer realized he cannot escape Days of our Steelers.

Weird how stuff like this or similar often seems to happen to a well run organization like the Steelers, it often makes me think if this stuff purposely leaked by Tomlin himself to bring the team together , and create a 'us vs them'' narrative.

Trade Minkah back to Miami!

[–] BlameMattCanada@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Witnesses say it was a literal dick swinging contest. I was the witness

[–] Ok_Roll_2816@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s always the WR’s…..

[–] throughNthrough@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

One of those players is much much more responsible for any of the Steelers success then the other.

[–] MattTheSmithers@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

“LORD PALMERSTON!”

— Minkah, probably.

[–] lunargirl13@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Days of Our Steelers music intensifies
